De Venise à Venise, Itinéraire d'un violon gâté
As any virtuose violinist, Amanda Favier has looked for the roots of her violin, made in Venezia in 1723 by the famous luthier Matteo Goffriler. Amanda proposes a musical journey through history and all over Europe to tell us the story of one main charachter: her violin.
Indeed this very special instrument has crossed the musical path of Bach, Paganini, Joachim, Ysaye, Kreisler, Kirchner, Bacri...until Amanda Favier has finally discovered it.

Les virtuoses italiens
Born from the collaboration of Amanda Favier with the DIjon-Bourgogne orchestra, "Les Virtuoses Italiens" has been created for a tour in 2013.
Amanda is deeply attached to Italy and has been awarded several prizes for her virtuose interpretation of Vivaldi' concerti. She wanted to share her love of Bel Canto and lyrical language of Italian composers. Indeed they have composed pieces to get the violin to sing and also display its incredible ressources.
In addiiton to her solist performance, Amanda also conducts the orchestra and proposes an approach closer to chamber music than accompaniement

The tessitura of violin is very often compared to the human voice specially when it reaches hign notes reminding us outstanding performances of famous spranos… A lot of composers and virtuoses have proposed enchanting transcriptions of Opera masterpieces. … Amanda Favier has created a concert-spectacle to propose classics of the Opera repertoire (Bizet, Verdi, Massenet...) with her string quintet or sextuor.
